Congratulations to the Spindletop Select 97G Twisters for winning Eastern District Presidents Cup. The girls went undefeated in bracket play, winning all 7 games, and then they won their semi-final game convincingly against
Division 1.

from the Olympic Development Program (ODP)
Each year, Professional STYSA and Collegeate Coaches and Trainers hold ODP tryouts for elite players in South Texas. Players are chosen to train in a pool of players, and play Friendlies against ODP players from other States within Region III (Southeastern United States).
From this pool, players are selected to advance to the Region III camp in Alabama for more training and games against players from across the United States.
Six Spindletop Select players have been placed into the Region III pool.
Our players will be training and playing
with the best players in the USA!

Olympic Development Program (ODP) The Defenders participated in the Eclipse Academy Cup tournament this past weekend (12/3-4) in Missouri City and won 1st place in their bracket (3-1, 1-1, 7-0) and advanced to the semi-finals match, where they lost 2-1 to Challenge White - Houston (in a very close game in the pouring rain
). The SSSC Defenders came in 3rd overall out of 16 teams in the Trophy division!
We want to thank Mikey O for being at all 4 games with us and also SSSC for permitting him to be there and supporting his involvement. It was a great assistance!
